Lancaster City Council

People, Homes and Jobs Consultation

Lancaster City Council recently held a consultation  on People, Homes and Jobs (part of the District’s emerging Local Plan). This considers potential sites for future housing and employment needs (potentially for 9,500 jobs and 13,000 new homes) for the period up to 2031.

A group of interested members met on 16 November to discuss the Society’s response.  Our response was submitted 21 November, please click on the link: People Homes Jobs response.  The response needs to be read in association with the maps on pages 8-15 in the Council’s leaflet          People, Homes and Jobs – How should we plan for the district’s future?’ leaflet (click for document).
