Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic has curtailed our usual programme of talks and walks since March 2020 the Society is determined to get back to as much of normality as we can and are therefore re-introducing our programme of events from October 2020.
At this stage we, like everyone else, are unable to meet up physically in the Town Hall so initially these events will be held via the ZOOM medium and be a series of presentations and talks.
Below is a list of events for October, November and December which have been confirmed and we have in the pipeline for the new year talks by Imogen Tyler, Professor of Sociology at Lancaster University, Civic Voice North West and Peter Wade of Morecambe Heritage Centre amongst others.
If you would like to attend one of these ZOOM meetings but are not yet a member of Lancaster Civic society please contact the Membership Secretary below for the appropriate login details.
Should you be unsure about using the Zoom medium, or if it the first time using it, don’t worry we will guide you through what you need to do and even arrange a ‘dummy run’ prior to the event. Just contact David Morgan via the details below.
