The Civic Society welcomes the redevelopment of this large derelict site. Though unadventurous in layout terms, the Society notes the proposed mix of dwelling types, scales and designs particularly along the main frontage of the site facing towards the River Lune. The Society does not oppose the grant of planning permission for this residential development.
